It happens to all of us.  You’re staring at a blank canvas.  You have no idea what to paint.  In fact, you feel a sense of fear for even picking up the paintbrush or pencil.  Well, if this sounds familiar, then this post is for you.

I have had my share of times when I literally thought that I would never be able to come up with a good idea ever again. Everything has been done.  I am not original.  I have nothing interesting to offer.  I’ve been there enough times to know that this is a normal part of the creative process.  Sometimes you need to be empty in order to fill up again.

In this video, I give you some tips on how to break through the blocks that prevent you from starting a painting or a work of art.  Try it for yourself and you may notice that it’s a little easier to start after these simple exercises.  Leave a comment and let me know how you did.
