Hi there! I'm Liz.

I believes that there is an inner desire for each of us to connect to our creative source and to express this in some way in our lives in order to be truly fulfilled. Through teaching art classes, workshops, and e-courses, I help others connect to their own creative potential.  If you are interested in learning more about how to bring more creativity into your life, be sure to join my e-mail list for upcoming events, new classes, e-courses, and other goodies.

My Story

“Imagination is more important than knowledge”.

~Albert Einstein

I started making art at a very young age.  I grew up in the woods of Lincoln, RI, where I would make sculptures out of mud and twigs.  At the time, I didn’t call them sculptures.  It was just a natural inclination to create.  As a child, I drew endless drawings of people and houses, always imagining that I lived in these beautiful homes and that I was the character in the drawing.  These early artistic explorations created a lifelong desire to connect to the world of the imagination.

"The journey not the arrival matters."

~T. S. Elliot

Traveling has been a major influence in my artwork.  I caught the travel bug in 1995 when I backpacked across Europe with my two best friends.  Ever since, I have tried to make travel a part of my life.  I hope to continue to explore the endless beautiful places on this planet.

"Teach the children so it will not be necessary to teach the adults."

~Abraham Lincoln

I grew up with two parents that were both teachers.  They instilled in me the importance of service to others.  For the past sixteen years,  I have been a teacher in the public schools.  It was only recently that I took a leave from my teaching job to explore other teaching platforms.

"Color is a means to exert a direct influence on the soul."

~Wassily Kandinsky

To me, art is a means to transformation and deep inner work.  It is not the product but the process that allows for transformation to occur.  When we start on the creative path, we open up an entire universe inside of ourselves and access our intuition, connection to Spirit, and new insight into our own potential.  I hope be the guide for others to find this space within themselves to access their creative energies and to give them the tools they need as they discover new places along the path of their creative journey.  If you are ready to start on your creative journey or would like to dive deeper into the work of exploring your own inner vision, start here:
